Medicaid Support Contract


POSITION SUMMARY


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and provide oversight to Medicaid Support Contract (MSC) sections as assigned.
  • Act as liaison between LDH section leads, MSC management, and assigned staff.
  • Assist the MSC Assistant Director in the compilation of statistics and monthly reports.
  • Conduct special projects as assigned.
  • Conduct an annual performance evaluation for each subordinate, setting future goals and strategies.
  • Conduct recruitment, selection, training, supervision, and professional development of assigned staff and new hires.
  • Develop and maintain updates to policies, procedures, and training manual; disseminate any changes to employees.
  • Other tasks as directed.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in an office environment.
  • Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills; effective organizational and time management skills.
  • Precise attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communications skills.


DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Advanced degree.
  • Minimum 4 years of professional experience in an office environment.
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience supervising 5 or more employees.
  • Minimum 1 year of professional experience in Medicaid program support.


SALARY

Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
